Seals
At Donaldson, we view the seal system as an integral part of Disk Drive contamination control, an industry we have participated in since the 1970’s. The seal system is designed to minimize the diffusion of harmful gases and particles through seams or ports necessary for assembly of the Disk Drive. Proper sealing of the drive and channeling of contamination through the breather filter are essential components of an effective Disk Drive contamination control strategy.
