‘Dust Dumpa’ Improves Dust Evacuation and Reduces Air Cleaner Inspection Time
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – September 22, 2008 – Donaldson Company (NYSE:DCI), a leading, worldwide manufacturer of filtration systems and parts, is pleased to announce the availability of Drop Tube Extensions for Donaldson SRG, SSG Donaclone™ and PowerCoreŽ PSD air cleaners.
When used as a replacement to existing dust cup assemblies, the ‘Dust Dumpa’ Drop Tube Extension rubber connector vibrates during normal vehicle operation and gravity expels the pre-cleaned dust through the Donaldson Vacuator™ Valve.
Features of the Drop Tube Extensions include:
- Improved dust evacuation from the air cleaner
- Clear tube allows for immediate visual inspections
- Improved safety of air cleaner inspections by eliminating the need for ladders or elevated platforms -- walk around inspections are now possible
